As part of our commitment to offer a premium bookkeeping service, we now offer a secure online file server to our bookkeeping clients. Your financial data is an important part of your business. Most businesses take good care of their physical assets, but it is all too easy to overlook your intangible assets like financial data. The full featured bookkeeping service we offer, includes securing your financial data, so you do not have to worry about loss from computer failure, fire, theft, or computer viruses.

There's No Additional Cost

All our services are provided at a standard flat hourly rate. We do not charge any additional fees for our secure server, and there is no bandwidth or data limit (subject to fair use).

It's More Than Just A Backup

Regularly backing up your bookkeeping data is a good habit to keep. Unfortunately all too often backups are kept on the same computer as the original file, meaning that if any problems occur the bookkeeping data, and all the backups are lost. Storing your backups on a thumb drive or external hard drive is often a problem also. These devices fail regularly, and are often kept next to the primary computer. Meaning that fire or flood can destroy both. Our secure server mitigates these problem by storing your data offsite. Whatever happens to the computer on which the bookkeeping data resides, your backups will be safe.

Sharing your bookkeeping data securely can be difficult. Emailing your bookkeeping data exposes it to a number of security risks. Thumb drives are also problematic because they can be easily lost and are prone to failure. Also, whilst most bookkeeping software offers password protection, the encryption is inadequate, and many programs are available which can expose your data in seconds. Our secure server encrypts your data during upload and download, and the bookkeeping data resides on an encrypted hard drive in our office. Even if our server was stolen (god forbid) the data would be inaccessible.

Generally, only the client and their bookkeeper have access to your folder on our secure server. However, we can easily provide secure access to your bookkeeping data for your accountant, meaning you'll never have to email or post your bookkeeping data again.

It's Simple To Use

We have taken care to design a server which makes it easy for clients and bookkeepers to store and access their bookkeeping data. You do not need to install any software to access our secure server. Also, the interface is designed to be very similar to viewing files on your own computer. You can simply drag and drop files too and from the secure server, just as you would with data on your own pc.
